Who can become a hospice volunteer?

Do I need prior healthcare experience?
No healthcare background is required. We provide full training and ongoing support to ensure you feel confident and prepared for your volunteer role.

Is training required?
Yes. Before visiting patients or families, all volunteers complete an interview with our Volunteer Coordinator and six hours of training.

We’ll work with your schedule. Some volunteers visit weekly, while others assist monthly or as needed, every hour makes a difference.
